The joy of discovery and the pain of loss, hanging on and letting go, wandering abroad and going home, these are just some of the themes that Marye Lobb explores with piercing honesty and a beautiful, soaring voice that invites you to make her journey yours as well. Equally at home in American folk and Latin American idioms, Marye sings in English and Spanish. Marye holds her roots in Rochester, New York and has explored Mexico and South America. She polished her skills at Berklee College of Music, is an active teaching artist, and the creator of SONG DETOX ®.

Music at the Little Café is made possible in part by a grant from the Drs. Dawn and Jacques Lipson to support performance, innovation and accessibility of the arts in the Rochester community, and thanks to the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
