SCREENING ON 35MM FILM! | Annette (Reese Witherspoon) unwittingly becomes a pawn in Sebastian’s (Ryan Phillippe) and Kathryn’s (Sarah Michelle Gellar) deliciously diabolical wager of sexual conquest when she writes an article in Seventeen Magazine about how she intends to stay pure until she marries her boyfriend. However, Sebastian gets more than he bargained for as he attempts to woo Annette into his bed.

Sexy & trashy, Cruel Intentions offers a High School remake of Les Liaisons dangereuses / Dangerous Liasons (Phillippe’s performance is wonderfully, goofily channeling Malkovich’s from the film). With some time-period-defining 90s influences, including its soundtrack ( infamously Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony”) and a great supporting cast — including Selma Blair, Joshua Jackson, and Christine Baranski, to name just a few. Not to mention containing multiple key moments of queer-awakening for many 90s kids: from Blair and Gellar’s kiss, to Phillippe’s bare buns.

We’re making “fetch” happen with “So Fetch!” — a new series of rom-coms, chick-flicks, and fabulous turn-of-the-millennia cinema.

The words were iconic as soon as they left Gretchen Wieners’ mouth in 2004’s “Mean Girls.” That’s so fetch. Both the quote and the movie defined a fresh type of genre — fetch films for a new audience. This series is for that crowd. Maybe “fetch” never happened for Gretchen, but this category of comedies will forever be great and cool (grool, if you will), and we’re here for it.
