Media Submitted to The Little

Photographers, designers, artists and filmmakers retain the copyright to any material submitted to The Little. By submitting your photo/art/film/description (hereafter: media), you agree to have your submitted media displayed on The Little’s website, social media, on screen, or printed materials (promotional, advertising, or editorial), without any fee or other form of compensation whatsoever.

The Little may make and retain copies of the media for archival and promotional purposes. Media may be selected for display or use in other WXXI and subsidiary publications or platforms without further notice. Media will not be used in any manner for direct sale of the media, without prior written approval from the rights-holder of said media.

In the event that ownership of any media submitted to The Little is contested in any manner, The Little retains the discretion to reject that media and discontinue its use. The Little is not responsible for media submitted by third parties, renters, musicians, artists, filmmakers or community groups/members to promote their screenings, concerts, or events.

Photo/Video/Audio Recordings at The Little

The Little, WXXI, and its subsidiaries record photographs, audio, and video during in-person events, and reserve the right to use any photograph/video/audio taken at any event at The Little without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video/audio. The Little may use the photograph/video in educational, news, or promotional materials, whether in print, electronic, or other forms of media, including on our website.

To ensure the privacy of individuals, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject.

By participating in an event at The Little you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify The Little, CITY, WXXI, and its subsidiaries from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.

The views and opinions expressed during Q&AS, discussions, introductions, lectures, performances, or screenings at The Little are those of the speakers, performers, and artists, and do not necessarily reflect the views or positions of The Little, WXXI, or its subsidiaries.
