LIVE PERFORMANCE • THE LITTLE CAFE

The Half Steps came together six years ago as a trio after each member’s previous bands had faded away. The shared enjoyment of simple songs and grateful grooves keeps us coming back for more. Each member brings a touch of their own musical history. Phil Recchio (rhythm guitar and vocals) brings classic Motown, Reggae, and is influenced by Jerry Garcia, The Band, and the Grateful Dead. Jamie Nells (rhythm, lead guitar and vocals) is influenced by Tom Petty, The Grateful Dead, Neil Young and perhaps a touch of Django Reinhardt. Nick Saccatelli (bass guitar) enjoys adding a bit of improve and groove to the mix. We think you’ll hear the enjoyment we genuinely share with each other come through the music.
