scatter the mud

Monday, July 29 @ 7pm

While some Irish bands call it quits after St. Pat’s Day, the Trad Irish group scatter the mud is always happy to leave the raucous, whiskey-infused ballads in the wake of March 17th, and dig deeper into the traditional music one might hear in the pubs of Dingle, Doolin, and Galway.

Reels, jigs, hornpipes, and polkas are intermixed with unique arrangements of airs, tunes, and songs- some familiar, and some to be enjoyed upon the first listen.

scatter the mud is a group of six friends who enjoy playing together on violin, whistle, mandolin, accordion, guitar, and bodhran.
