Troubled that he has little access to his children, divorced Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) hatches an elaborate plan. With help from his creative brother Frank (Harvey Fierstein), he dresses as an older British woman and convinces his ex-wife, Miranda (Sally Field), to hire him as a nanny. But when both Daniel and his nanny persona must meet different parties at the same restaurant, his secrets may be exposed.

A hilarious and heartfelt look at the challenges of parenthood and responsibility, Mrs. Doubtfire is a 90s classic thanks to strong direction from Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone), a great supporting cast, and a phenomonel lead performance from Robin Williams, once again showcasing his extraordinary talents for broad comedy and witty delivery, while still conveying a sense of dramatic pathos that he brought to the very best of his performances.
