Max Robbins is a trumpet player from Rochester, NY. He grew up studying both classical and jazz music with several Eastman faculty and RPO musicians. Max has performed at the Rochester International Jazz Festival, Tanglewood Musical Festival, Brevard Music Center, and several jazz clubs in Pittsburgh, PA. He is a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Trumpet Performance and currently attends Harvard University for Graduate School.

Amy Azzara is a twenty-one-year-old vocalist born in Simsbury, CT and raised in Rochester, NY. She is completing the last year of undergraduate study in Jazz Vocal Performance at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. In 2021, Amy had the honor of receiving two DownBeat awards (Jazz Vocal Soloist and Small Jazz Vocal Ensemble). In August of 2021, she attended the JAS Aspen Summer Academy under the direction of Christian McBride. Amy’s original music is on streaming services, and her website houses many of her musical projects.

Robert Varon is a young guitarist who has been performing in the Rochester area for about ten years now. He is influenced by various types of contemporary music including jazz and rock. He is currently in his third year at the Eastman School of Music.

Zach Walgren is a bass player based in Rochester, New York. Zach studies with Jeff Campbell at the Eastman School of Music.

Simon Ribas was born and raised in Rochester New York where he was exposed to music at an early age and quickly began playing the drums. He is currently a student at Purchase College where he has been able to spend time with the likes of Adam Birnbaum, Doug Weiss, Gary Smulyan, Eric Alexander, Kenny Washington as well as many others. While at Purchase, he finds himself playing often in New York City and surrounding areas.
