Mary is known for her signature sexy growl, with a sultry delivery that draws listeners in. Although Mary remains dedicated to the authenticity of traditional jazz standards, she also delights her audience with unexpected gems and fresh interpretations of blues, r&b and swing, peppered with her own original tunes, always high energy and fun.

As a self-described mimic, she honed her vocal chops along the way by creating and perfecting character voices for professional recording. She was then inspired to pursue a singing career because she (unapologetically) enjoys the sound of her own voice and delights in discovering what else she can do with it.

Mary is privileged to work with some of the best jazz musicians in the area, including veteran jazz guitarist Dan Schmitt, and Wayne Naylor on upright and electric basses. Come on, it’ll be fun!
