About the Film:

Ends on Thursday April 9th

Whiplash won three Oscars and was nominated for two others, including Best Picture. J.K. Simmons won Best Supporting Actor for his work in this film.

Andrew Neiman is a 19-year-old jazz drummer, dreaming of greatness but unsure if his dream will ever come true. One night, Terence Fletcher, a conductor equally known for his talent for teaching as he is for the terrifying method of his instruction, discovers Andrew practicing the drums. To his surprise, Fletcher requests that Andrew be transferred into his band. This single act changes the young man's life forever.

Matt Goldberg from Collider calls it "A work of bravura filmmaking. Anchored by extraordinary performances from Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons . . . Simmons absolutely dominates every frame of the picture."
