Mike “CottonToe” Scrivens has been playing his own version of acoustic/electric blues in and around Upstate NY for nearly a decade.

He has also performed at several large venues, including the New York State Blues Festival, the Lima Crossroads Blues Festival, and the Rochester Fringe Festival. CottonToe engages audiences young and old with his soulful voice, singing stories of those less fortunate and those whom he’s crossed paths in his lifetime. Frank DeBlase from CITY Newspaper described his debut cd DOWNTRODDEN BLUES as “eight songs that are bluesy, yes, but with other elements of singer-songwriter and warm Americana denim, wood, and wire.”

DELTA BOUND is CottonToe’s newest group of musicians that includes some major stalwarts of the local Rochester blues scene. Joining him at this show will be Timothy Brinduse on vocal harp and Paul Clark on drums/percussion.
