Call for Submissions!

The One Take Documentary Series is now accepting submissions for The Short List, our annual local shorts program highlighting exceptional documentary films from the region! We’re looking for compelling short documentaries from Rochester, Syracuse, Ithaca, and Buffalo.

Submission Guidelines:

• Films must be 30 minutes or less in runtime
• Films must not have screened publicly in Rochester prior to this event
• Selected films will be featured at special screenings on December 11 & 13, 2025, as part of our celebrated year-end program.
