ABOUT THE FILM

A novelist (Kayije Kagame) attends the trial of a woman at the Saint-Omer Criminal Court to use her story to write a modern-day adaptation of the ancient myth of Medea. But as the trial continues, her own family history, doubts, and fears about motherhood are steadily dislodged as the life story of the accused is gradually revealed.
