LIVE ON STAGE | Local favorite and blues powerhouse Hanna PK returns to Rochester, from her new base in Louisiana, for a rockin’ evening with her band, live on stage in Little Theatre 1.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hanna PK’s life and musical journey includes South Korea, Rochester NY and now Louisiana. During her time in Rochester, NY, she’s won a strong local following due to her wide-ranging repertoire and the power of her voice and presentation — she may be petite, but she can rock the house! Hanna got the surprise of her life when a youtube video of her playing solo piano in a U-Haul storage unit got the attention of Louisiana blues legend Kenny Neal — he contacted her to ask to produce her debut record!

Maybe it was her choice of material– the song was “Decoration Day Blues” by the obscure piano genius Curtis Jones—or maybe it was her soulful, understated singing and charisma—but either way, it led to a fruitful collaboration. Kenny’s label Booga in partnership with Vizztone records released Hanna’s “Blues All Over My Shoes” in November of 2021. It debuted at #13 on Billboard’s US Blues chart and has garnered strong worldwide blues radio play.
