We are thrilled to have Floyd Norman himself join us for a live, virtual Q&A following the screening. | An intimate journey through the life and career of 80-year-old Floyd Norman, the first African-American animator at Disney Studios. He later went on to develop the original Fat Albert TV special, early Sesame Street segments, and classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons. Floyd Norman is the “Supermensch” of animation: everywhere you look in animation history, you find Floyd. After the Walt Disney Studios forced him to retire at age 65, Floyd continued to “stir up trouble” and influence the industry.
