Ayette says: The music, the dance moves, cream pie fights, and peddle cars – Bugsy Malone has it all! This movie captured my imagination when I saw it as a little girl, and I watched it many times to memorize the songs and choreography. It’s a funny, nostalgic, and creative take on the classic “gangster” film and great for kids of all ages! This one is a classic!
About: New York, 1929, a war rages between two rival gangsters, Fat Sam and Dandy Dan. Dan is in possession of a new and deadly weapon, the dreaded “splurge gun”. As the custard pies fly, Bugsy Malone, an all-round nice guy, falls for Blousey Brown, a singer at Fat Sam’s speakeasy. His designs on her are disrupted by the seductive songstress Tallulah who wants Bugsy for herself.
Features an all-child cast, including roles from Jodie Foster and Scott Baio.
