Join us for a panel made up of local comic book scholars and afficianos, to reflect and discuss after seeing the new “The Batman” on its opening weekend!
- Daniel Worden, Associate Professor of Comics Studies at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Author of Neoliberal Nonfictions: The Documentary Aesthetic from Joan Didion to Jay-Z and editor of The Comics of R. Crumb: Underground in the Art Museum
- Dave Chisholm is a trumpet player, cartoonist, composer, and educator currently residing in Rochester, NY where he received his doctorate in jazz trumpet from the Eastman School of Music. His most recent work is Chasin’ the Bird: Charlie Parker in California — a graphic novel commissioned by the Parker estate in celebration of Bird’s Centennial.
