ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us for a screening of the 2019 concert recording of “A Show for Joe,” a musical celebration honoring local music legend Joe Dady. The concert will be presented in 2 parts, with a 10-minute intermission.
During a short break from 6:00pm-6:30pm (approx.) you may purchase food at The Little’s concessions stand, The Little Cafe, or a nearby restaurant.
Then return to Little Theatre 1 from 6:30pm-8:30pm when The Brothers Blue take the stage for the screening’s “after-party,” promising an evening of great live music with special guest performers and friends. (This performance is free and open to the public, instead of live music in the Cafe.)
ABOUT THE FILM
A chilly November evening in Rochester was warmed by the love of hundreds of family and friends and more than fifty performers who filled the Hochstein Musical Hall to celebrate the life of treasured music icon, Joe Dady. Each guest carried a unique story of Joe’s place in his or her heart, but none more than his beloved brother and music partner for more than forty years, John. It was a night to remember…and remember. Recorded November 2019 at the Hochstein School of Music.
