MAY THE FOURTH (be with you) | Former scientist Galen Erso lives on a farm with his wife and young daughter, Jyn. His peaceful existence comes crashing down when the evil Orson Krennic takes him away from his beloved family. Many years later, Galen becomes the Empire’s lead engineer for the most powerful weapon in the galaxy, the Death Star.
Knowing that her father holds the key to its destruction, Jyn joins forces with Cassian Andor and other resistance fighters to steal the space station’s plans for the Rebel Alliance.
In 2026, Rogue One is celebrating its tenth anniversary, and holds a unique place in the Star Wars canon, connecting some of the best stories the series has had on either side of its narrative: Tony Gilroy’s Andor series before, and Lucas’ original A New Hope after. In the fight against creeping fascism and totalitarian rule, Rogue One takes a darker tone than some of the series’ other entries, but still depicts ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
Star Wars costumes strongly encouraged!
