The goal of versatile jazz trumpeter Rick Holland’s quartets and trios is simply to play swinging melodic jazz in the style of his favorite artists, such as Chet Baker, Miles Davis, and Art Farmer. Rick idolized these masters when he was younger, and his goal is to play similarly accessible music for his audience.
