Poetry Night with the Just Poets :: Sunday, April 19
With a special 6:30pm start time!
On April 19th, the Just Poets are joined by featured guest Jonathan Everitt. His poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Laurel Review, Frozen Sea, Stone Canoe, ImageOutWrite, and the Moving Images anthology, among others. He has led a workshop for LGBTQ poets and co-founded the long-running monthly open mic New Ground at Equal Grounds in Rochester’s South Wedge. He lives in Webster with his partner, David Sullivan.
Other guest poets include: Al Abonado, Sabine Bradley, Jessica Cuello, Michael Czarnecki, Alicia Hoffman, Jennifer Maloney, Ja’miah Smith & George Steele. Hosted by David Delaney, Ken Kelbaugh & Bart White. Open mic if time allows after featured poets read. Free entry; donations gratefully accepted.
Festivities begin at 6:30 with a musical introduction (our house musician is jazz trumpet player Mike Kaupa). Wonderful poetry follows.
