ONLY ONE SCREENING! | Acclaimed documentary filmmaker Frederick Wiseman turns his meticulous camera on a French restaurant in his newest 4-hour epic, Menus-Plaisirs – Les Troisgros, following the day-to-day operations in a three Michelin star restaurant, from purchase to preparation to service.

The Troisgros family owns and operates their three restaurants — Troisgros, Le Central and Colline — in three neighboring locations in central France. The flagship — Troisgros — was founded 93 years ago, has had three Michelin stars for 55 years, and in 2020 was awarded a Michelin green star for exemplary sustainable practices. The present chef, Cesar Troisgros, is the fourth generation of the family to be in charge at Troisgros.

The film shows the great artistry ingenuity, imagination, and hard work of the restaurant staff in creating, preparing, and presenting meals of the highest quality — from organic produce to cattle ranches, with an interest in biodiversity through distinctive menus and efforts to reduce food waste.
