Marye Lobb :: Thursday, Dec. 18
Marye Lobb is a bilingual singer-songwriter whose work blends indie folk, jazz, and Latin American influences with poetic vulnerability. Her latest album, Mi Ola, was written while she was learning to surf on the coast of Mexico — a period of deep healing that inspired songs about fear, resilience, and letting the ocean teach her how to breathe again.
Raised in Rochester and shaped by her travels throughout Mexico and South America, Marye sings in English and Spanish with a warm, soaring voice and an intimate, storyteller’s touch. She is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, an active teaching artist, and the creator of SONG DETOX®, a program designed to help others reclaim their creativity and emotional expression through music.
