COVID Safety Guidelines
We miss seeing our community’s passionate and smart film fans every day. Judging by the responses we’ve gotten in the past 12 months, The Little was missed by you as well. And now, we have good news: The Little is slated to reopen on a Friday through Sunday schedule, starting Friday, April 16.
At this time, only our Little 2-5 and Cafe building (blue building, with the entrance off our parking lot at 8 Winthrop Street) will be open. Due to our current situation, your Little Experience will be slightly different. Please read below to get details on your next Little venture:
What We Need From You
- Stay home if you’re sick – we can get you a refund if you need one.
- Wear a mask – keep your mouth and nose covered unless you’re in your seat.
- Wash your hands – 20 seconds with soap and water, or hand sanitizer.
- Follow social distancing – keep 6ft away from other people.
- Try to minimize time in the lobby – buy your tickets online, buy your concessions before finding your seat.
What We Are Doing
Assigned Seats: Seats will be blocked off to ensure proper physical distancing. Upon purchasing a ticket(s) you will select your seat. Please DO NOT sit in a seat that is not your designated spot or disturb seats that have been roped off. Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly encouraged.
Theater Capacity: There will be significantly fewer seats available in each auditorium. The Little will be adhering to state guidelines on theater capacity (25-percent capacity, no more than 50 people) and 6ft social distancing.
Air filtration: The Little Theatre has reviewed and upgraded its air filtration systems to comply with the mandatory New York State guidelines.
Sanitization: There will be increased cleanings of theaters, bathrooms, concessions, surface areas, etc. Staff will wear masks at all times, and hand sanitizer will be readily available. Seating will start half an hour before the listed start time to allow for proper cleaning and sanitization. Your patience is appreciated.
The Little continues to follow safety guidelines from the state, county, and health experts. This is a fluid situation, and as a result, these procedures are subject to change. Check back for guideline updates prior to visiting The Little.
