The Little Theatre, one of Rochester’s most iconic artistic treasures, is celebrating 95 years of cinema, music, art and community service. Born from the “Little Cinema Movement” of the late 1920’s, The Little has evolved into an artistic and civic hub while remaining steadfast in fulfilling its mission.
As the premier cultural center for the presentation of American independent, international, and classic films — as well as local music and visual arts — we have positively impacted thousands of community members and have established our venue as a place of inclusivity, creativity, and artistic expression in a warm, inviting atmosphere.
PLEASE JOIN US

FAQ
Is this event considered a gala?
This event is a fundraiser, but it is not a typical gala. There will be no paddle calls, silent auctions or live performances. Instead, it will be an intimate gathering that allows us to reflect, honor, and commemorate 95 years of The Little Theatre. It will be an opportunity to introduce the new CEO of WXXI, The Little, and CITY Magazine, Chris Hastings, to committed supporters of the Little, and hear about his vision for the company as a whole. Proceeds raised from this event will support the operational needs and endowment of The Little.
Will valet parking be available?
Valet parking will not be provided. However, there is a 200-space parking lot adjacent to the hotel and ample street parking.
What is the dress code for the event?
The dress code is festive/cocktail attire or business casual.
Will there be assigned seating and a plated dinner?
No, there will not be assigned seating, there will be tables and high tops available for open seating. We envision this set-up to encourage guest connection and conversation within a beautiful and chill setting. While this is not a plated dinner event, each ticket includes admission, two drink tickets, and a selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres.
