BreatheDeep Presents: A Doc & Dialogue Event:
Conversations About Mental Health – Youth Perspectives
Come behind-the-scenes to hear the perspectives of the BreatheDeep Peer Ambassador teen interns as they discuss topics around mental health and wellness. Their teen circle dialogues span a variety of topics to include social-cultural pressures, depression, anxiety, friend & family relationships and more. Some provide transparent personal accounts of what has impacted their own mental health, and the ways in which they incorporate healthy protective strategies to overcome, to restore and to heal. All provide encouraging messages to inspire other youth on how to find and create safe spaces to restore and to thrive.
Directly after the viewing of this short BreatheDeep documentary, audience members will have an opportunity to engage in an in-depth dialogue with BreatheDeep Peer Ambassadors, staff and local mental health professionals. This Q&A session is an opportunity to continue to destigmatize conversations around mental health and wellness, listen to our youth, as well as to create helpful strategies to meet their needs and those of the larger community.
This event is run and organized by a third-party, taking place at The Little. The Little is not the programmer or organizer of this event. Please note that Little Theatre discounts, passes, and member benefits do not apply to this event.
