The Ben Turiano Trio is a bass-led group, playing straight-ahead and modern(ish) instrumental jazz. Performing arrangements from artists like Oscar Pettiford, Sonny Rollins, Pat Metheney, and Cedar Walton, the group covers a range of styles, focusing on up-tempo tunes. In addition to Ben Turiano on double bass, the group features Collin Bay on guitar, and John Sprague on drums.
