Examining the life, career and private character of one of American entertainment’s most distinctive performers: Bea Arthur. Reflecting on the performances that brought her international recognition, while recalling the less familiar experiences that shaped her long before television audiences knew her as Dorothy Zbornak or Maude Findlay, this new film features archival footage and materials, interviews with friends, colleagues, and Arthur herself.

The first feature-length documentary about Bea Arthur — built around a never-before-seen interview with Arthur, sitting at her kitchen table — this screening is one of only six planned in-person screenings across the country. Be one of the first audiences to see the film, and stay for a post-film Q&A with producer and director Dan Watt, live and in-person as he reflects on the making of the film and shares personal stories of his time with Arthur.
