Divine G (Colman Domingo), imprisoned at Sing Sing for a crime he didn’t commit, finds purpose by acting in a theatre group with other incarcerated men. When a wary outsider joins the group, the men decide to stage their first original comedy, in this stirring true story of resilience, humanity, and the transformative power of art, starring an unforgettable ensemble cast of formerly incarcerated actors.

MIQUEL POWELL | Executive Director and Founder of The Reentry & Community Development Center, Inc.(RCDC-17) which is committed to working with those who are recently released from jail or prison, and those struggling with substance abuse disorders. In addition, Powell is a NYS certified substance abuse counselor at a local non-profit agency.

SHANIQUE BYRD | Publisher and Editor of Tocsin, with a focus on providing a voice for marginalized communities and incarcerated individuals. Tocsin is dedicated to promoting social justice and combating racism through various platforms such as their magazine, podcast and community reporting.
