Mezzo-soprano Maria Vasilevskaya, Novosibirsk, Siberia. Master’s degree candidate in Vocal Performance at Eastman School of Music. Bachelor’s degree from Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan, Armenia. Maria made her
Operatic debut as Madame Larina in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin with the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in 2016. Past December she was an alto soloist in Handel’s Messiah in Kilbourn Hall. She is the winner of the 2018 Friends of Eastman Opera competition. She was also recognized with 2018 Jury Performance Award at Eastman School of Music. This summer Maria will be one of the emerging artists at the Seagle Music Colony.
￼Mezzo Soprano Shaya Greathouse, Washington State. Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Literature from Eastman School of Music. Shaya has performed with Rochester Lyric Opera, RAPA several Eastman concert series. The ￼￼Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, local choral groups. ￼Roles include Michaela (Carmen), Anne Page (The Merry Wives of Windsor), and The Countess (Marriage of Figaro)
￼￼￼￼Baritone Kurt Griffen, Rochester, NY. Studied voice with Dr. Robert Shewan and Miss Judith Coen at Roberts Wesleyan. Recieved Masters of Divinity and of History. Continues studies with Dr Shewan. Music, religion and history teacher at Chesterton Academy of ￼Rochester/St. John Bosco in East Rochester. Performs, with Off-Monroe Players, R. P. O., Rochester Opera Factory, Rochester Lyric Opera, Buffalo Opera Unlimited, Gregory Kunde Chorale, and the Robert Shewan Chorale.
