Publick Musick plays (mostly) baroque music, from ca. 1600 – 1800, on period instruments.  What are period instruments, and why do we play them?  Come to this fun, informal, and informative concert to find out!  We’ll take you on a quick journey through 200 years of music history, from the polyphony of the late Renaissance, through the wild and inventive era of the early Baroque, to the more familiar repertoire of the high Baroque, ending with the delightful sounds of the early Classical era.  Bring your curiosity and your questions!
