Set in 1799 — and based on Washington Irving’s classic tale — Ichabod Crane is sent to the town of Sleepy Hollow to investigate a crisis, caused by the decapitations of three people. The culprit is the legendary apparition The Headless Horseman.

Mixing gothic horror and stylized fantasy, Tim Burton’s creepy and atmospheric adaptation of “Sleepy Hollow” features an extraordinary cast of characters that dabble in the supernatural, one of Danny Elfman’s most beautiful scores, and Oscar-winning Set Decoration for its immersive world-building.
