UPDATE: March Private Screening Rentals are SOLD OUT. Sign up for The Little's weekly e-newsletter for the latest rental information.

The Little’s popular private screening rental program is expanding in March (visit the rental page HERE).

Both the newly renovated Little Theatre 1 (240 East Ave.) and Little Theatre 5 (8 Winthrop Street) will be available for private screening rentals in March, for one to ten people. Previously rentals were only available in The Little’s East Ave. building.

Rental reservations can be made beginning at 12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19 at shopthelittle.org. The starting price for rentals is $300 in Theatre 1, and $200 in Theatre 5. Little Members will continue to receive a $50 discount on rentals. Masks and physical distancing within the buildings are required. Shopthelittle.org, along with thelittle.org, will have full rental details, including a detailed list of safety procedures.

Rentals will take place Wednesday through Sunday throughout the month. There are 53 total rentals in March. The 32 spots in February sold out through The Little’s online store in eight minutes.

The basics:

A screen at The Little Theatre can be yours for your own private movie screening! Screenings are for up to 10 people, and everyone must maintain physical-distancing and wear a mask, when not eating or drinking in a theater seat.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Screenings will be available in multiple theaters, in both Little 1 (the front building, on East Ave) and Little 5 (in the back building, off Winthrop Street). Please pay careful attention to which theater you are choosing when purchasing: the reservation icons are labeled and color-coded (red for L1; blue for L5), and the theater is also listed at the top of the description. Reservations cannot be transferred between theaters, and all sales are final; no refunds.

Here's how it works:

1. RESERVE YOUR DATE
To start your reservation, click on the date and time you wish to book and add it to your cart. (If it says "SOLD OUT", please select a different date, as that time slot is no longer available.) In your shopping cart, fill in your contact information, billing information, and complete the checkout process. You'll receive an email confirmation verifying your reservation.

2. WE'LL CONTACT YOU FOR MORE DETAILS
Once you've completed your checkout, we'll contact you to arrange final details for your choice of movie (from a selection of current and classic films), and to pre-order popcorn and other concessions (concession pre-orders end 24 hours before your reservation). Additional film fees may apply; concessions are available for an additional fee. Due to high demand, please note that it may take several days after purchase for us to contact you.

3. MASK POLICY
Masks are required at all times, except when eating or drinking in your theater seat. Masks must be worn in lobbies, aisles, bathrooms, and hallways at all times, and no one will be admitted in the building without a mask. No eating or drinking in the lobby or hallways.

4. ENJOY YOUR SCREENING!
The theater and lobby will be open for you and your guests 30 minutes before the time of your booking. Any pre-ordered concessions will be available for contact-less pickup at that time. (All concessions must be pre-ordered; in-person purchases will not be available). Choose any available seat, and enjoy!

ADDITIONAL NOTES & POLICIES

Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance.

The maximum group size is 10 guests, including the host.

Films longer than 180 minutes will be subject to an additional fee of $50 per hour.

No outside food and drink allowed.

No decorations, balloons, confetti, glitter or candles allowed.

Any outstanding damage to the theater will be billed to renter.

New York State & The Little's health and safety protocols must be followed at all times, including each audience member wearing a mask and physical distancing at all times.

If you feel sick leading up to, or on the day of your rental, simply contact us and we'd be happy to reschedule your reservation. Please do NOT come to the theater if you do not feel well.

Not all films are available to watch at private screenings. Streaming service-exclusive films and some new theatrical releases are not available.

In the event that The Little closes, due to local, state, or national regulations, or for the health and safety of our audiences and staff, all affected reservations will be rescheduled or fully refunded.
