Little in the Lot

*Cafe Now Open Limited Days!*

Our cafe is now open 4 days a week with indoor & outdoor dining, music, & Little popcorn!

We are currently unable to show movies indoors, as per New York State health regulations. Stream movies in the Virtual Little, read our COVID-19 statement, and consider becoming a member or donating to help us survive!

A second statement from The Little: We have decided to cancel the Friday, Sept. 25 Little in the Lot event.

Doing the right thing, making the correct decision, shouldn't be this difficult. If others did the right thing Daniel Prude, Breonna Taylor, and so many other valuable lives would still be with us. Not only were their lives taken far too soon, but their killers remain immune to consequences. This is unjust, and infuriating. Our staff decided - as we did for our previously scheduled Sept. 12 Little in the Lot event - to stand by our community, the leaders at Free the People Roc, and the additional courageous individuals who continue to fight for justice every day.

If you purchased Little in the Lot tickets, refund information has been emailed to you (please send us a message if you didn't get this email).

Thank you for understanding.

A statement from The Little: This is a historic time in Rochester. The unjust killing of Daniel Prude in March, subsequent cover up, and unlawful abuse of peaceful protesters is simply unacceptable. Anger over the lack of justice and accountability is expected, but it's the response from our incredible community that is the aforementioned historic part. Led by Free the People Roc, brave individuals have made their voices heard every night in downtown Rochester. This is vital work, and as a result, The Little staff has decided to cancel our Saturday, Sept. 12 Little in the Lot event.

Refunds of your full purchase amount will be issued immediately. The refund should appear on the card you used to purchase, within 3-5 business days. If you have any questions, please feel free to email shop@thelittle.org, or call the business office at 585-258-0400.

The Little has been a constant on East Avenue for 90-plus years, and that type of history comes with a responsibility to this community. We dearly miss our Little members and guests, but holding an event at the same time that residents are calling for justice a few blocks away, would not be upholding The Little's values.

Our staff sends both love and support to the courageous individuals fighting for racial equity and justice. We stand with you. Black Lives Matter.
