Parking and Directions

There are plenty of free or cheap parking options in close proximity to the Little Theatre!

We have our own parking lot off of Winthrop St, directly behind our historic Theatre 1. We have additional parking further down Winthrop St., near the former 2 Vine building -- the parking spots to the north side of the trees in the Hart's lot (next to our parking lot on Winthrop Street) are for Little patrons. On-street parking is always free after 6 p.m. on weekdays and all day on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday). On-street parking is available on Winthrop Street, East Ave, Union Street, Pitkin Street, and Charlotte Street, to name a few. Additionally, the East End Garage, just a short walk from the Theatre, is $2 on evenings and weekends after 5:30pm.

Since the East End is home to several fine restaurants and the Eastman Theatre, business really heats up during the holidays and on weekends. Be sure to leave yourself enough time to get to the movie!
How to get to the Little:
From East —Take 490 West and exit at Goodman Street. Turn right on Goodman to East Ave. Turn left on East. Theatre is on the right.
From West —Take 490 East, then exit 13 for the Inner Loop. Take the Inner loop to East Ave. exit. Turn right on East Avenue. Theatre is on the right.
The Little Theatre is located at 240 East Avenue.

The Little & WXXI Public Broadcasting

In January 2012, the Theatre took innovative step toward sustainability by entering into a parent-subsidiary relationship with WXXI Public Broadcasting. Because of this merger, we can be assured that as the downtown area and surrounding neighborhoods continue to change and grow, the Little will continue to be a bright spot in the neighborhood.  Learn more here:
