About the Film:

WXXI is bringing Nature | PBS's executive producer Fred Kaufman and Emmy-winning filmmaker Ann Johnson Prum to The Little Theatre (240 East Avenue). They’ll screen clips from their favorite Nature episodes, including Hummingbirds and Sex, Lies, and Butterflies, and share behind-the-scenes details about them, plus answer questions from the audience. Ann and Fred will also be sharing some information about the upcoming PBS Nature American: Spring LIVE series premiering on WXXI in April.

In addition to the PBS Nature producers, our local bird experts from Wild Wings will be present to share some of their rescued birds and information about local conservation and preservation. Wild Wing's mission is to foster awareness, enhance respect and promote personal responsibility for the nature world. They serve as a wildlife sanctuary, focusing on birds of prey and educational programming.

Please note: Wild Wings Inc. will be bringing live birds to this event.

This event is free but reservations are required.
