WXXI's Indie Lens Pop-Up series, in conjunction with Rochester Association of Black Journalists (RABJ), presents this film that delivers a candid portrait of citizens, police, community advocates, and government officials on the frontlines during three years of unparalleled, escalating violence in Baltimore.
Filmed during three years of unparalleled violence in Baltimore, Charm City delivers a powerfully candid portrait of those on the frontlines. With grit, fury, and compassion, a group of police, citizens, community leaders, and government officials grapple with the consequences of violence and try to reclaim their city’s future. Join WXXI on Monday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Little Theatre when its Indie Pop Up series presents Charm City. This screening is also part of The Little's Black Cinema Series. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion. Panel to be announced soon.
