About the Film:
Join WXXI for a free preview screening, followed by a panel discussion.
Chasing the Moon, a film by Robert Stone, reimagines the race to the moon for a new generation, upending much of the conventional mythology surrounding the effort. The series recasts the Space Age as a fascinating stew of scientific innovation, political calculation, media spectacle, visionary impulses and personal drama. See a sneak peek of this three-part series on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Little Theatre (240 East Avenue). It will be followed by panel discussion. This event is free and open to the public. Seats are first come, first served.
