Dust off your exploring hats --it's time to venture into the Amazon!
The Lost City of Z opens this week, and it's scoring stellar reviews . It's based on an equally well-reviewed book, and follows a British explorer as he leads his team into an unknown area of the Amazon. Fun fact I discovered while researching this (note: I haven't read the book): The "Z" in the title is pronounced "Zed" not "Zee." I'm very happy to announce I nailed this pronunciation while recording my weekly radio spots (today is National High-Five Day, and I EARNED this high-five).
Aside from our journey to the unknown, we at The Little have seven special events this week, plus a packed cafe band schedule. All those sweet, sweet details are right here on this very website, thelittle.org. In the meantime, let me fill you in on some upcoming releases. As always, upcoming release info can be found on thelittle.org's homepage (directly below today's showtimes). This is not a full list, and is subject to change!

This time of year always features creative or oddball films that I end up adoring (See: The Lobster, Hunt For The Wilderpeople, Sing Street, plus Me and Earl and The Dying Girl), and this list definitely has potential. I hyperlinked each title so you can read more and watch a trailer. Let me know if anything jumps out at you!
