Gene Wilder charmed audiences with whimsy, wit, and hilarity for decades. To honor the comedy legend – who died Aug. 29 – The Little is screening several of his films, and offering fans a chance to win Golden Ticket prizes, including free popcorn for a year.
The Little Golden Ticket
Donning a purple blazer and an overly large bow tie, Gene Wilder helped cement “iconic” status for Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka. Little fans can now relive Wilder's portrayal of Wonka on the big screen, and share the pure joy that Charlie Bucket experienced in the 1971 film when he discovered that magical Golden Ticket.
Here’s how: Five golden tickets have been scattered throughout random large bags of Little popcorn. One Grand Prize winner will receive free popcorn for a year. The four additional recipients of Little Golden Tickets will each win a pass that includes a free movie and dinner for two people. All five Golden Ticket winners will receive Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory on Blu-Ray.
The Golden Tickets will only be available in large bags of popcorn. The Little encourages winners to share their photos of the Golden Ticket experience on social media. The Little will give updates on winner via their various social media channels, along with their popcorn’s Twitter account: @_LittlePopcorn.
The Golden Ticket promotion begins this week, and runs until all the tickets have been found.
