Ted Perry Ibeji Quartet

The Ibeji Quartet is a group formed by pianist Ted Perry and guitarist Cesar Haas to celebrate twin musical heritages of both Brazilian music and American jazz. The name Ibeji is a Yoruba word for "twins" and reflects the band's love for both of these traditions that have grown up in separate parts of the world and yet are deeply connected. They will feature arrangements of Brazilian classics, jazz standards as well as a few original compositions as well.

Ted has performed with musicians such as Ernie Watts, Nick Brignola, Drew Gress, Paul Smoker, John Swana, Dave Santoro, Mike Richmond, Akira Tana, Fred Wesley, and pedal steel guitarist Chuck Campbell of the Campbell Brothers.
