Live coding is an experimental performance practice in which musicians/coders create music by programming it in front of a live audience. The source code is projected for audience members to see. An Algorave is to live coders what a rave is to a DJ: an event typically held at a club where live coders take turns performing one after another, creating algorithmic dance music for all to enjoy.
