Lyn Parsons is a painter and ceramic sculptor interested in exploring the nature of the internal landscape. Previous such explorations have looked at metaphorical body-mind connections at the molecular level. This body of work uses representations of a literal, physical landscape to speak of incursions into one’s personal space.
Lyn received her BFA from Alfred University in 1998 and her MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago in 2001. She teaches art at the high school level at The Harley School in Rochester.
