AMANDA MONTONE (VOCALS)
At age 4, Amanda began pursuing long-term and extensive training in classical violin at the Academy of Talent Education. Although she mastered Suzuki violin in her early adolescent years, she fell in love with vocal performance. She has performed around the Rochester area in art festivals, weddings, corporate events, and various competition venues. In addition, she has shared her vocal artistry at numerous restaurants. After spending her teenage years at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester for vocal training and theater, Amanda acquired her Bachelor's degree in vocal performance at the Greatbatch School of Music in New York State. She recently received a Masters Degree in Music Therapy. Throughout her training experience she had the opportunity to attend master classes with some of the world's finest artists including Yo Yo Ma, Renee Fleming, the Guarneri Quartet, and Joshua Bell. In addition, she has performed and recorded with artists from the RPO including Stephan Reuss. Over the years, Amanda has developed a voice of distinction and a passion to perform professionally. Although trained classically, her repertoire includes jazz, pop, country, classics, and soft rock.
