“Life’s too short baby, take a shot” River Lynch proclaims in his song “Sun Hit Noon”. Words he lives by. A native to the city of Rochester in upstate New York, River Lynch regularly performs 3 hour long sets of his own original material as well as powerful crowd pleasing covers. River Lynch has certainly made himself present in Rochester, playing at such established venues as The Rochester Riverside Convention Center and the Fairport Canal Days Festival. In June of 2013 River Lynch had the pleasure to open for the Tommy Brunette Band, who just months before shared the bill with ZZ Top and The Marshall Tucker Band. Bitten by the Rock and Roll bug at an early age, River Lynch has a vast variety of musical taste that ranges from The Rolling Stones and Grace Potter to Gary Clark Jr. and Bob Dylan. With the combination of his songwriting, guitar playing and singing, River Lynch truly stands out from the crowd by stamping his own distinct fingerprint on Rock and Roll music
